This instructor-led SOLIDWORKS Advanced 1 course is designed to provide participants with advanced skills in part modeling and surfacing, enabling them to design and create complex shapes and features with ease. The course consists of 18 modules and covers the following topics:
- Introduction to advanced part modeling, including design intent, creating and modifying configurations, and advanced features such as sweeps, lofts, and patterns.
- Boundary features, which allow for the creation of complex, freeform shapes using multiple sketch profiles.
- Threads and library feature parts, which can save time and improve productivity by allowing commonly used parts and features to be easily created and reused.
- 3D sketching techniques, which enable the creation of complex geometry and control of feature orientation and alignment.
- Introduction to surfacing, including different surfacing techniques such as boundary, lofted and swept surfaces.
- Advanced surfacing tools and techniques, including the use of tangent surfaces and curvature continuous surfaces.
- Participants will receive a digital handbook to support their learning and serve as reference material for future use.
- The course will be taught by experienced SOLIDWORKS trainers and experts in their field, providing high-quality instruction and support throughout the program.
By the end of the course, participants will be well-prepared for the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Surfacing (CSWPA Surfacing) exams. These industry-recognized certifications are highly valued by employers and demonstrate proficiency in SOLIDWORKS software.
